Dr. Juska has been a corporate marketing executive and national advertising manager for Fortune 500 companies, including the Jeep Corporation, International Harvester,
and US Telephone. In addition, he has worked at advertising agencies, media companies, and research organizations. During his professional business career, Dr. Juska received several international awards for advertising excellence, including two national Clio’s.
He was also on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the International Advertising Association, as well as a member of the American Marketing Association, American Advertising Federation, and American Academy of Advertising.

Dr. Juska earned his doctorate at Northwestern University, as well as his Master’s Degree in Advertising Management at the Medill School of Journalism. He has taught both undergraduate and MBA courses in advertising and promotion management in five countries: France, Italy, Finland, Japan and Switzerland. He has consulted for European corporations and conducted an advertising training program for the Japan Economic Journal in Tokyo.  His most recent activities involve the development of a new course for the University of Illinois, entitled “Advertising and Informatics”, which integrates the concepts of computational thinking with digital media communication and marketing.
